Case: Google Merchant Center Account Recovery
Challenge:
The client’s Google Merchant Center account was suspended due to a Misrepresentation policy violation. The primary challenge was to identify and resolve compliance issues across both the Shopify-based website and the Merchant Center account to restore advertising eligibility.
Solution:
I performed a comprehensive compliance audit of the Shopify website and the Google Merchant Center account, identifying multiple issues that required correction. After resolving all website-related errors and updating the Merchant Center settings accordingly, the account was reviewed in collaboration with a Google representative.
Once all compliance requirements were met, a new review request was submitted. Following a review period of more than three days, the Merchant Center account was successfully reinstated, allowing the client to resume product advertising.
