Case: Google Merchant Center Account Recovery
Challenge:
The client’s Google Merchant Center account was suspended due to a Misrepresentation policy violation. The key challenge was to identify and resolve compliance issues across both the Shopify-based website and the Merchant Center account in order to restore advertising eligibility.
Solution:
I conducted a comprehensive compliance audit of the Shopify website and the Google Merchant Center account, identifying multiple issues requiring correction. All website-related errors were resolved, and the Merchant Center settings were updated to fully align with Google’s policies.
Following these corrections, the account was reviewed in collaboration with a Google representative. Once all compliance requirements were met, a new review request was submitted. After a review period of more than three days, the Merchant Center account was successfully reinstated, enabling the client to resume product advertising.
