Case: Google Merchant Account Recovery
Challenge
The Google Merchant Center account was suspended due to a misrepresentation policy violation, which prevented product listings from appearing in Google Shopping and halted advertising activity.
Solution
A systematic review and compliance process was carried out to resolve the suspension:
- Conducted a full compliance audit of the Shopify-based website to identify violations of Google Merchant Center policies
- Identified and corrected website issues related to transparency, trust signals, and policy requirements
- Performed a detailed audit of the Google Merchant Center account and resolved identified errors
- Verified both the website and Merchant Center account in coordination with Google support
Once all issues were resolved, a new account review request was submitted.
Outcome
Following a review period of more than three days, the Google Merchant Center account was successfully reinstated. Product approvals were restored, enabling the resumption of Google Shopping campaigns.
