Limited Visibility in Google Merchant. How to fix it?

If you are a dropshipper or a small manufacturer, you have most likely encountered a problem when after publishing products in a Google Merchant account, your products were not approved. Or rather, Google accepted them but limited their visibility in the target country.

In my practice, 100 cases out of 100 showed that the limitation of product visibility in the Google Merchant target country was due to the lack of identifiers.
Google Merchant is a store, only on the Internet. And like in any store, when buying a product, you scan the product and then pay for it. Google Merchant requires that all products that you upload also have an identifier. Pay attention that each country has its identifier.
An identifier is a number with several digits. This should be a unique international number for the product. For this, a guarantee is indicated with a bar code on the packaging of the product or the cover of the book. Google uses a search identifier to list products from search results.
GTIN — Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) is a unique and internationally recognized identifier for a product.

UPC EAN codes

UPC – The United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and many other countries generally use Universal Product Codes (UPCs), also known as the GTIN-12 barcode format, because they have 12 digits.
EAN — Merchants in Europe and other areas around the world often use an International Article Number (EAN, since it was formerly known as European Article Number). There are EAN-8 and EAN-13 barcode types.

JAN — This type of barcode is used in Japan, and can either be an 8 or 13-digit number. An EAN prefix, which starts with 45 or 49 as the first two digits, indicates a Japanese Article Number (JAN).

ISBN — Books use the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) barcode format, which is compatible with EAN barcodes. Each book edition and variation has its own ISBN, which can be either an ISBN-10 or ISBN-13.
Products may not have such a code if you sell handmade items in a single copy. For example, you sell a painting that you painted yourself, wooden toys, a knitted sweater, or something else.
If you are a drop shipper and you do not have a product identifier. Most often, sites like (CJDROPSHIPPING) give you images, prices, and a description of the product, but do not give you identifiers. Of course, you can buy all the products yourself and rewrite the identifiers or buy barcodes on sites like barcodes.pro. The main thing is that these identifiers match the products you sell.
Once you add the product ID to your Google Merchant account, your product will be visible in the target country immediately.
That’s all.
